Environment

Falmouth is one of Cornwall's leading south coast resorts. Home to the country's maritime heritage, here you will find sandy beaches and spectacular scenery.

There are many specialist shops from local art to antiques. Exceptional sailing in the Carrick Roads and Fal Estuary and many wrecks to dive on and explore.

EnvironmentSight seeing in the Falmouth area could not be easier. You can climb aboard one of the many passenger ferries or pleasure boats to explore the harbour, bay or over to St Mawes. You can go further a field still, up the river to the city of Truro or over to the beautiful Helford river.

The main street is a mixture of chain stores and individual specialist outlets. There is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, pubs and hotels offering an international table.

You can try the famous Cornish Cream Teas or indulge yourself to a homemade ice cream, but what ever you do you must not forget to try a Cornish Pasty.
